ETHICS TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Most institutional review boards (IRBs) will have their own requirements for training in research ethics, including information privacy and security, human subjects research, biosafety, good clinical practices, and responsible conduct of research. However, it also does not hurt to complete additional research ethics training.
The CITI Program is used by a number of academic and clinical institutions and provides comprehensive resources for training in research ethics. You can register for free through your university or practicum site, or as an independent learner.
The APA Office of Research Ethics through the Science Directorate also offers education and training in research ethics and Responsible Conduct of Research.
