THE AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION'S
SCIENCE IN ACTION INITIATIVE

Psychology: Science in Action is a facet of APA's public education campaign aimed at illustrating the breadth and depth of psychology and the variety of settings in which psychologists work, including research, education, clinical and organizational settings. APA's Science in Action platforms include the following:

- A YouTube series
- Facebook group
- Twitter feed
- Online compendium of ongoing research news
- Upcoming research events
- Webinar series in cooperation with other organizations

The APA Science Directorate launched an online advocacy toolkit, which may be found at:
http://advocacy.apascience.org. Advocating for behavioral and social sciences research with the APA is the best way to reach Congress and fight for our discipline. APA’s Science Government Relations Office also holds in-person advocacy trainings.
